European Technology PlatformThe European Commission (EC) collaborates with Technology Platforms in the area of defining research priorities within the European Research Area. The status of a "Technology Platform" is granted by the EC. More information on the concept of Technology Platforms is available at: http://cordis.europa.eu/technology-platforms.
The first step in the creation of a Technology Platforms is a Vision document. This and a Letter of Intent signed by the members of PROSPECT was submitted to the EC.
